OBJECTIVE
Create a conversational assistant that helps parents search for summer camps in the Baltimore, Maryland area by asking questions, narrowing options, and guiding users toward relevant results.
APPROACH
Designed intents, entities, and dialog nodes in IBM Watson Assistant to support parent questions about summer camps. Built conversation flows to capture preferences such as free or paid camps, child age, category interests, required documents, application links, and whether the user wanted to continue exploring more options.
ANALYTICAL VALUE
Demonstrated how conversational AI can simplify information discovery, improve user experience, and support families looking for local programs without manually searching across multiple sources. The project also showed how structured conversation design can make service information easier to access.
SKILLS SHOWN
Conversational AI, NLP, intent design, entity design, dialog flow development, user-centered design, chatbot testing, and information-architecture thinking.
